    Joan of Arc

    $20.00$85.00

Inspired by the Jeanne d’Arc statue in Paris, I wanted to capture the drama, the hope, and the excitement of Joan’s mission.

    I Choose All

    I Choose All

    $20.00$85.00

When Thérese was a child, her older sister Leonie decided that she had outgrown some of her playthings. Before giving them away, she offered them to her younger sisters. Celine politely chose a single toy. When it came to Thérese’s turn, she grabbed the entire basket and proclaimed, “I choose all!”

This story illustrates well how this future saint approached the spiritual life. She understood that there are many degrees of holiness and she wanted the very highest degree. “My God,” she cried, “I choose all! … ‘I choose all’ that You will!”

  • Saint Teresa of Calcutta

    Saint Teresa of Calcutta

    $20.00$45.00

For the longest time I believed I would become a sister, and in particular a Missionary of Charity. Something within me burned for a life of service to the poor, of humble but difficult work for the glory of God. Though it was not to be (God called me instead to the humble but difficult work of a mother), Mother Teresa remains a model of selflessness and quiet dignity for me. I hope I captured a glimpse of her beautiful soul with this painting.

  • Saint Padre Pio

    Saint Padre Pio

    $20.00$45.00

I’ve always loved Padre Pio for his bold personality and his intense devotion to God in the midst of great suffering. As a girl who tends to speak before she thinks, I feel as though I’ve found a kindred spirit in this man who allowed God to work through his nature to refine him—and thus for God to do incredible things.

  • Pope Saint John Paul II

    Pope Saint John Paul II

    $20.00$45.00

I was young the day that JPII died, but I remember vividly the feeling of loss, as though a dear friend had passed away. Of course I never actually met Pope Saint John Paul II, but when I was inspired to begin painting a series of saints his was the first image I chose. Only now do I realize why: one of his greatest messages was the call for this generation to a New Evangelization. I am this generation, and this is but one small I way I can share Beauty and Truth with the world.

  • Saint Maximilian Kolbe

    Saint Maximilian Kolbe

    $20.00$45.00

Kolbe’s was a surprisingly difficult face to paint, with all its subtle slopes and planes, and many many hours went into this painting. But how could I expect any less than the grace to grow in perseverance when I am painting the image of a man who persisted in spreading the gospel in the midst of war, despite persecution and beatings, who willingly gave his life for a stranger, and even at the last, though he was starving, continued to praise God?

  • Saint Faustina Kowalska

    Saint Faustina Kowalska

    $20.00$45.00

I chose this image of St. Faustina for the sparkle in her eyes. I’ve always imagined her a slightly mischievous partner in God’s plan for Divine Mercy, surprising the hopeless with such unexpected and infinite love.

  • Saint Therese of Lisieux

    $20.00$45.00

    Saint Therese of Lisieux

    $20.00$45.00

Therese is known for her “Little Way”, of perfect obedience in the smallest things. I should have known going into this painting that I would be called to just that! Sure enough, I had barely begin to mix my paints when my daughter became fussier than she’d ever been, demanding my attention every couple minutes. With paint drying on my palette, I comforted her again and again and again (and halfway through writing this sentence she woke up from her nap, calling for my attention yet again). This painting is testament that sometimes the greatest masterpiece is just doing God’s will in the small and unknown things.
